Why Coffee Seed Oil, Rosemary Leaf Oil and Peppermint Oil?
Stimulating Blood Circulation: Like caffeine, rosemary oil is believed to enhance blood circulation when applied to the scalp. This increased blood flow can potentially stimulate hair follicles and encourage hair growth. The menthol in peppermint oil is known for its cooling sensation, and it can also stimulate blood flow to the scalp.
Antioxidant Properties: All three of these ingredients contains antioxidants, which can help protect hair follicles from damage caused by free radicals. This may contribute to maintaining the health of the hair and scalp.
DHT Inhibition: Some studies suggest that caffeine, as well as rosemary leaf oil may inhibit the effects of dihydrotestosterone (DHT), a hormone associated with hair loss. By blocking DHT, coffee seed oil could potentially contribute to preventing or minimizing hair loss.
Moisturizing Properties: Coffee seed oil is rich in fatty acids, which can help moisturize the hair and scalp. Proper hydration is essential for maintaining the health of the hair and preventing issues like dryness and breakage.
Reducing Inflammation: The anti-inflammatory properties of coffee seed oil may help soothe the scalp and reduce inflammation, creating a healthier environment for hair growth.
- Strengthening Hair & Thickness: Rosemary oil and peppermint oil are rich in antioxidants and has antimicrobial properties, which can help strengthen the hair and prevent damage. It may also help reduce dandruff and soothe an irritated scalp. Particularly, the peppermint menthol component may have a positive impact on hair growth by promoting the anagen (growth) phase of the hair cycle.
And our base oil (which is a natural carrier oil) is Castor Oil!
Moisturizes and Conditions: Castor oil is rich in fatty acids, particularly ricinoleic acid, which has moisturizing properties. Applying castor oil to the hair and scalp can help moisturize and condition the hair, reducing dryness and preventing breakage.
Promotes Hair Growth: While scientific evidence is limited, some people believe that the nutrient-rich composition of castor oil, along with its potential to improve blood circulation, may contribute to hair growth. Ricinoleic acid, in particular, is thought to have growth-promoting properties.
Strengthens Hair: Castor oil can help strengthen hair strands, making them more resilient and less prone to breakage. This can contribute to overall hair health and the prevention of split ends.
Prevents Scalp Infections: Castor oil has antimicrobial properties that may help prevent scalp infections and maintain a healthy scalp environment. A healthy scalp is essential for promoting hair growth.
Thickens Hair: Some users claim that regular use of castor oil can lead to thicker hair. This is often attributed to the nourishing and conditioning effects of the oil.
